I started looking into mindfulness and meditation several years ago to help alleviate anxiety and insomnia. I dabbled in it on my own for quite some time and then I took an 8-week program. As soon as the first class started, I felt an immediate connection to the concepts and approach. Mindfulness is a way of living and I wanted to incorporate it into my life on many levels. Since that time, I have been certified to teach Koru mindfulness and am working on another certification, as well. I meditate daily, teach mindfulness classes at Marian University, and work mindfulness throughout my day-to-day life on many levels. I'm honored to share my experiences with my students and to learn with them.
